10:00-12:00 Opening of the project at the EU House (Aspazijas bulv. 28) 1) Project coordinator’s speech (up to 10 min); 2) 5 min-long school introductions 3) UNESCO representative’s presentation about Latvian and European cultural and natural treasures. 4) Task for international groups 5) Tea, coffee and cakes 12:00-13:30 Orienteering in Old Riga in international groups of 6 people 13:30-14:30 Lunch at the University of Latvia “Daily” restaurant 15:00-17:30 ZINOO scientific centre https://www.zinoo.lv/home/ Group building activity “Building a city sustainable against an earthquake” Students have a lecture about houses and earthquakes and are split into 2 groups (1st group of 25 people has one hour of free time in the shopping centre or in the scientific ZINOO centre or in the shopping centre ZINOO is situated in the big Shipping centre Gallery Riga https://galleriariga.lv/en/) 2nd group is split into smaller groups of 6 who are building houses together which will be tested by an earthquake. Then the groups 1 and 2 change.
